I first met Peter on the 98a bus on our way to the first day at Archers Court school one day in September 1962. We were the only kids who lived in the town area of Dover and became great mates. Whether it was playing snooker or darts, swimming in the harbour or later visiting many drinking establishments became our chosen hobby!

It was in one such pub-The Salutation -that Peter and I came across Brenda and her friend Cheryl,I bravely asked them if they wanted a game of darts! This led to our eventual marriage two years later!

Peter was our best man.

He has featured in our lives throughout our marriage and we will be sorry he won’t be here for our fithteth anniversary this year.
